I honestly cannot believe that today is the last day of 2010. When other, wiser people, told me that time will fly once you have children…I had no idea what they were talking about. Until now of course.
Seeing as I still have my wall calendar on March 2010, you could say that yes, time has slipped away from me.
Today, as the last day of 2010 closes in, I hope to celebrate this past year. Celebrate the year that Big Brother turned 5, started kindergarten, and learned how to read. Celebrate the year that Little Sister turned 3, mastered potty training, and performed in her Christmas ballet show.
Celebrate my husband’s new job position which meant he wouldn’t be traveling so much. A huge hallelujah to that!
Celebrate that I took a leap of faith and started this blog. I just sat down and started writing one day. I haven’t been able to stop since. I’m grateful for the support of all of you. I certainly consider this blog as one of my huge accomplishments of 2010.
I look forward to 2011 and all the possibilities in front of us. Today we will be playing, eating, and toasting to the New Year that lies ahead.
